Recent Cases of Fraudulent Octave Job Recruitment

​​It has come to our attention that scammers are posing as Octave employees in an attempt to access personal and financial information from candidates. This may include fake job postings on LinkedIn and other platforms, or recruitment outreach.

It’s our priority to ensure that candidates feel safe and confident in applying to jobs at Octave, so we recommend taking these steps to verify the legitimacy of job openings:

• All official Octave openings will be posted on our website at findoctave.com/careers, so verify that it’s posted there and you can also apply directly on our website.

• Octave recruiters will only contact you from a findoctave.com email address.

• If you are uncertain about the legitimacy of a job posting or outreach, you can always contact careers@findoctave.com to verify it.

We are actively working with LinkedIn and other job boards to take down and report fraudulent posts, but that unfortunately may not happen until some people have submitted applications. We urge you to remain vigilant for these scams, report suspicious activity, and contact the authorities if you’ve been a victim of a scam.
