Octave Partners with Aetna to Provide In-Network Coverage in New York
Octave today announced it is joining Aetna's network of providers to make its mental health services available to more than 1.3 million people in New York.
It’s the first major insurance partnership in New York state since Octave opened its doors in 2018 in Bryant Park. The company now has two clinics in Manhattan, with virtual therapy and coaching available statewide.
“Aetna is one of the largest health insurers in New York, and we are incredibly excited to make Octave’s services available in-network to such a large population. This is core to our company’s mission of expanding mental health access,” said Sandeep Acharya, CEO and Co-Founder of Octave. “We look forward to continuing to expand our relationship with Aetna in the near future.”
The news follows Octave’s announcement last month that it also is expanding access in California, partnering with Health Net to provide services covered by insurance to its members across the state. The company has been in-network with Anthem Blue Cross - the largest PPO insurer in the state - since 2019.
Octave’s services are now available in-network to more than 10 million people nationwide.
